The Edge
A £4.7 million coastal activities centre to help make Whitehaven the tourism capital of the Cumbrian Coast.
The Edge will provide a dedicated facility for water sports and recreational activities with incorporated accommodation – the first of its kind on the Cumbrian coast.
A new slipway provides direct access to the sea from the centre, so will provide an ideal base for tourists, explorers, school and community groups.
